This advanced non-surgical solution to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, refine pores, remodel collagen and tighten your skin. Performed in a series of three treatments one month apart. Can treat face, neck, chest and hands. Choice of two treatment applicators and will be customized for each patient. This will be discussed at the consultation.
When You Arrive For Your Appointment:
- You will lie on the treatment table, I will drape you with a towel and place a cap on your head to protect your hair.
- I will prepare your skin by washing your face, using an exfoliating toner and a medical degreaser.
- I will then use the Microneedling Wand with your own individual sterile tip to pulse your face, neck and jawline.
- A hyaluronic acid will be applied. This should be applied every hour until bed.
- A post treatment kit will be given to you at your first treatment.
- Once the treatment is complete your skin will feel like a sunburn for 45 minutes or so.
- Erythema or redness is expected that should resolve within a few hours.
- For three days post treatment you should refrain from any heavy workouts.
- After 24 hours you can begin using your typical regimen with the exception of any exfoliating products or retin A or retinol products. These can resume 7 days post treatment. They should also be discontinued 7 days prior to treatment.
- At bedtime, if you feel or see swelling use an extra pillow. This will allow any accumulated fluid to drain.
- Microneedling is performed every four weeks for three treatments. (In some instances four treatments are required. This is discussed at consultation.)
